Department: Marketing & Sales Employment Type: Full Time The Account Manager is responsible for tech sales of Scilligence’s informatics solutions. As the Account Manager, you will work closely with the sales and marketing team to generate leads and promote growth the West Coast, USA. This is a great position for a scientist looking to transition to a customer-facing role. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Marketing & Sales team to meet sales goals Market research to generate leads and opportunities Establish and build strong relationships with clients Collect and prioritize customers’ requirements Identify new initiatives and projects to boost sales and product awareness Work with our technical team to develop proposals or Statement-of-Work documents Work closely with customers and our technical team to ensure our solutions meet customer expectations Schedule and coordinate customer visits and product training Prepare and present product demos to prospective clients Requirements: Bachelors, Masters, Ph.D. or equivalent in Chemistry, Biology, or applicable work experience 2-5 years of customer-facing experience Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Highly organized with the ability to multi-task Strong attention to detail, a flexible attitude, and a team player Ability to work effectively with little supervision Great writing and speaking skills Experience in the life sciences Prior experience in sales helpful but not a requirement
