Dear Members,

The Chinese American Bio/Pharmaceutical Society (CABS) thrives on the remarkable contributions of its members, who are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of biomedical innovation. As part of this vibrant community, you play a critical role in shaping the future of life sciences. With the upcoming election for President-Elect, we are excited to offer you the opportunity to step forward and take the lead in guiding CABS into its next chapter. This is your chance to leave a lasting legacy and drive the advancement of our industry.

As we approach the election for our next President-Elect, CABS is excited to introduce a new self-nomination process for the 2025 term. This initiative aims to empower our members to step forward and play a pivotal role in guiding the future direction of our organization.

Eligibility for Self-Nomination: To be eligible for self-nomination, the candidate must fulfill one of the following criteria as per our bylaws:

  • Co-chair of CABS Standing Committees or

  • Executive Committee (EC) Member with a minimum of three years of tenure

  • Lifetime Member of CABS

How to Self-Nominate: If you meet the eligibility criteria and are interested in leading CABS as President-Elect, please prepare and submit the registration to the nomination online system with the following key information:

  • A concise biography that highlights your contributions, experiences, and awards within CABS.

  • A vision statement outlining your goals and plans for your potential presidency.

  • Linkedin profile link

  • A high-resolution portrait

Nomination Timeline: Please send your nominations from no later than 6PM, October 25th. 

Based on the response from the self-nomination responses, the Board of Directors of CABS will review and approve the final candidates for election. You will be contacted individually for the result. . This is your chance to contribute to CABS’s leadership and make a lasting impact on our community. We encourage all eligible members to consider this unique opportunity.
