Welcome to CABS

The Chinese-American BioPharmaceutical Society (CABS) is a not-for-profit, non-political, non-religious professional organization headquartered in San Francisco, California. With the rapid development of bio/pharmaceutical industry in China, more and more people, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds, are looking toward China for business and scientific opportunities. Recognizing this trend, CABS was established not only to educate the public with the progress in biotech and pharmaceutical fields, but also to serve the Bio/Pharmaceutical professionals who are either with Chinese heritage or with professional interests in China. CABS members include scientists, entrepreneurs, lawyers, investors and students/postdocs in biomedical sciences. The CABS membership is open to the public.

Big deals reshape Bay Area biotech industry

A wave of multibillion-dollar deals this week signals the acceleration of a deal-making frenzy that will likely reshape the life-sciences industry.
